Question - (best diy pedal distortion)

What is best distortion pedal you ever build, tube and tranzistor:

i search good metal sound and i want to build sansmarshall form a denn.ru website, i build tubefreek and it work flawles, what distortion you sugest tu build?

i build the engl and slo-recto to but now i waiting for 5,6Ohm 5W resistor to end a psu.

anyone build sansmarshall?? any samples?? i listen thats on denn website but i want more

like i say i have problem with charset you can write in your language i can read it but i can't write in it sorry for complications

even if i tray to translate via google translation or any pc translator ther are to many bugs in translation...

searching for sound samples of that sansmarshall from denn i have sean many on his portal but i searching for more I think i will tray to build it

i'm searching for good distortion (tube or tranzistor or jfet) for metal.
making a band and traying to develop new sound for it
so i search for real good distortions and waiting for advice

i build engl mod2 but i waiting for 5.6Ohm 5W resistor.

i build right now:
dr.boogie, tube screamer, slo-recto-twin, engl mod2, sansamp gt2, tubefreek, ds-1.

I playing on 100W head of valveking with 4x12 diy with man-o-war cab.
for practise i use valveking 112 combo and pod xt with headphones...

PS. Someone know how to repair a lcd in pod xt i have lines on it...

I'm not an eagle in english, my english is a little bit poor i will be happy if someone understand me

What do You mean by "good distortion for metal"?
Engl and SloRecto are good distortions for metall but good for diferent tastes.

i build right now:
dr.boogie, tube screamer, slo-recto-twin, engl mod2, sansamp gt2, tubefreek, ds-1.

You crazy DIY-man first of all, finish slo-recto and engl, maybe you'll find base of your sound in one of them.
If you have another power resistors, you may ask forum members to help change the power supply scheme to use available components without 5.6ohm.

The Tubescreamer is an easy overdrive for blues etc, it is worst stand-alone metal distortion but i find it realy cool in boosting mesa hi-gain channel.

About transitor distortion. See this page: http://www.rock-tiras.km.ru/projects.shtml.htm. It contains several simple  DIY distortion-projects, may be not so good for you, but are can be interesting for experiments with sound.

PS If your russian good as your english, you can try to write in russian using transliteration

If you want more - use tube guitar PA after SansMarshall and good guitar speaker (Cab).
